Overall Job Summary: Position is responsible for managing and directing
Alcon's global Internal Audit program and directing the work performed
by audit staff located in Fort Worth, Texas and Fribourg, Switzerland.
Conduct assigned audits to provide assurance that (1) appropriate
internal accounting and operational controls are in place, effective and
functioning; (2) assets are properly safeguarded; (3) operations comply
with Company policies and governmental laws and regulations; (4)
operations are effective and efficient in a manner that is cost
effective to the Company; and (5) financial records are accurate and
reliable. Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and provide
reporting to senior management as necessary.
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
(preferred) or Finance.
Minimum Experience Requirements: Ten years solid accounting and or
auditing experience including direct supervision of staff. Fluent in
English plus one additional language (Spanish, French, German
preferred).
